Relief Society Super Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013

Here are the class descriptions and times for our upcoming Super Saturday.  The activity will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26th from 9 until 1pm.  Please plan to join us for crafting, cooking, socializing and lunch!

Choose 3 of the following classes, one per hour.  If you finish a project early, there are class options that you can drop in each hour.  If you'd like to sign-up for classes online, send me an email at fisherpc@yahoo.com or fontainedebienvenu@gmail.com.  I will send you an email reply to let you know that we are planning on you for that class.

Please invite your friends and neighbors.  All Young Women and Activity Day girls over 10 years old are also invited.  This is a great activity for the women of our community to get to know one another better.

Super Saturday Schedule and Class List

9:00am            Meet in the Relief Society Room/Opening  Exercises.

9:30am            Classes Begin:  Choose from the Following options.
FREE!  1.  Autumn Abundance:  What to do with all of that garden produce.  Instructor:  Carolee Millet, Free.  Please sign-up for a free recipe book with favorite recipes for zucchini, squash, tomatoes and other garden staples.  *If you have a favorite recipe using garden produce that you'd like to contribute to our cook book, please email to Nicole Fisher at fontainedebienvenu.blogspot.com by Monday, Oct. 21st.  Thanks!!  
Class Full!  2.  Family Home Evening Boards. Instructor:  Renee Cundick (1 hr.)  $22.50 fee.  Please have your money/checks written to Renee Cundick by Sunday, Oct. 13th by noon.  We have extended ordering, but must be ordered by Sunday at 5pm.  

Class Full!  3.  In A Pickle:  Personal Organizer.  Instructor:  Janice Sansom, $5 fee.  Great class for young women and activity day girls. 


Registration closes for this class on Sunday, Oct. 21st. 4.  White Ked Decorating.   Instructor:  Caroline Hyland (1 hr.) $6 fee for paints and supplies , you will need to provide your own white canvas  keds.  This is  great class for young women and activity day girls.  



5.  Family History (15 min.)/LDS Tools Tutorials (15 min.)-Free.  

10:00am            Second Session of Classes Begin.
Free!  1.  Caramel Apple Making.  Instructor:  Camille Mendel from the 4th Ward.  Instructions in creating delicious caramel apples.    
Free!  2.  Timing Is Everything:  Holiday Menu Prep.  Instructor:  Erica High, Free.  (1 hr. or drop in anytime)  Ideas and discussion on how to time your holiday meals, plus simple table decorating ideas. 
Registration by Monday, Oct. 14th!  3.  Eternal Plants:  Terrarium.  Instructor:  Betsy Chamberlain.  Small-$10; Medium (shown)-$15; Large-$20.  Betsy will provide the plant and soil materials, please provide your own jar.  The one shown below would be considered a medium jar.

Free! Register by Monday, Oct. 21st.  4.  Holiday Table Runner. Instructor:  Wendy Powell (1 hr.) Create these darling, simple table runners with two fabrics and a button.  You will need to provide 1/2 yard and 1/3 yard of coordinating fabrics, thread and 2 decorative buttons.  Please bring your sewing machine if you have one, but its simple enough, we can use the Relief Society machines as well.  You won't believe how simple this project is!  Great for young women, activity day girls or any level of sewer.  *See youtube instructions in the side bar.  Great gift idea!

5.  Family History (15 min.)/LDS Tools Tutorials (15 min.)-Free.

11:00am            Fourth Session of Classes Begin.
Free!  1.  Rolling In the Dough:  Holiday Bread Making.  Instructor:  Sharon Wouden (1 hr.) Free samples and recipe ideas for those who sign-up.
Class Full! 2.  Christmas Advent Calendar.  Instructor:  Renee Cundick (1 hr.)  $22.50 fee.  These darling Advent Calendars can still be ordered by noon on Sunday, Oct. 13th.  Please get your money/checks written to Renee Cundick by noon.  We need to put in our order by 5pm on Sunday.

Free!  3.  Memory Makers:  Low Cost Gifts.  Instructor:  Barb Olsen.  Instruction on DVD making and other fun gifts for little to no cost. (1 hr. or drop in anytime). Free.

Registration by Monday, Oct. 14th!  4.  Kitchen Caddy's.  Instructor:  Maureen Egan  (1 hr) Galvanized tin-$15; White tin-$23.  These are a great gift idea, perfect for displaying silverware for buffet dinners or for crafts/art supplies.  We need to order materials ASAP, so let us know if you're interested in this class.

5.  Family History (15 min. sessions)/LDS Tools Tutorial (15 min. Sessions)-Free. 

12:00pm            A Working Lunch in the Cultural Hall.
Sign-ups for soups, salads and dessert binders will be in Primary, Young Women and Relief Society for the next 2 weeks.  Call Linda Florence with any questions.
